yes but apparently a Ferrari is nicer than a Mercedes yet Karl Benz pretty much invented the modern car.

Scotland famous for whisky is now losing out to Japan etc on Whisky.

plenty of premium cars use parts from around the world. Its the skill in selecting, specifying & assembling the parts you are paying for not where the metal was cast.

The Scottish parliament recently gave something like 1.8 million to a distillery to turn it into one of the best in Scotland. The owner then went and gave over 600,000 (but not from the grant) to the no to independence lot :-)

Is this an urban myth or is there evidence to back it up?
