Got my Final accounts to sort too, NW keep emailing and calling me to do stuff! Blimey!!

    Too much hassle! Hehe!
I'm told the SATR is sorted now, so just the accounts

Could be worse, could be Blackpool - 9 losses in last 10, all loanees back to their clubs, Barry Ferguson as player/manager and about to lose their best player..

David Moyes is a football genius.

We all wondered how they won the league last year with that squad.

Now we know. Their rivals imploding one after the other, RVP scoring loads of goals, and Ferguson's outstanding ability to squeeze the last dregs out of the rest.

Most of those players are now finished as title contenders. Not that I'm a particular fan of Moyes one way or the other, but he was handed a poisoned challice.

I'd keep 4 or 5 players out of that squad tops. Van Persie, Rooney, Mata, De Gea, that young lad. The rest of them are duffers and need to be moved on. It will take a couple of seasons to rebuild, not the next transfer merry go round.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

I've been consistent from the start in saying that Moyes is not the man to take Man Utd forwards. Sure he is a "loyal" manager who sticks with a club, but I don't think it will be his loyalty which will be tested. Maybe gone at the end of the season by the looks of it. They need to bring somebody decent in - Klopp looks a good fit.

Most of the players aren't good enough. Changing the manager won't help unless there is £200m for him to spend or they are willing to wait while young players come through.

I think perhaps Moyes is the right man to rebuild. He built a good squad at Everton and his latest purchase at Utd is pretty sound. Failani I don't really understand, I thought he was a better player than he's shown so far. I expect we'll see a cull in the summer and some new faces bought in. I also think the morale in the team is clearly very low, they have lost the self belief and they aren't going to get that back overnight.

All great eras come to an end. Ferguson was an exceptional manager and now he is gone.

There is no permanent order of things. Liverpool found that out. To a lesser extent so did Wolves, Leeds, Arsenal, Sunderland and Huddersfield in the past.

Spending that amount of money, on a player that plays in the same position as Rooney, and possibly also Fellaini's strongest position, was absurd. Mata has now been shunted out to the right wing. It's going to be a test of Moyes' resolve and character - it has to be either play Rooney in midfield or wide and let Mata play in the 'hole' or watch him go to waste and be labelled as a flop. Considering Wayne's now calling the shots, I can't see that happening.
