The team has hardly changed and last year United were not dropping points like they are now against the Smaller sides. The only change is Gollum is now in charge.Originally posted by minestrone View PostThey need a new team, not a new manager.
In one sense I was pleased by the draw. Last of the big gamblers me!! I'd backed United to win at half time and with £4 at 7/4. When we scored I put a quid on the draw at 12/1 to hedge it. I then cashed out my United bet for 10.52 and stuck another quid on the draw at 25/1. So 47.52 and my £3 stake back - paid for a few beers! I also got a £5 from united being the next goal scorer but I wasted these winning by lobbing it on United to score again after the second one went in.Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

You can make a couple of hundred using just £10 stakes over the course of the season by betting on a team, any team, finding an equaliser if there’s just one goal in it in going into injury time. It’s only a matter of time before odds are significantly shortened like they were for 4-4 draws as they must be taking a bashing.Originally posted by BoredBloke View PostThe team has hardly changed and last year United were not dropping points like they are now against the Smaller sides. As a new born Medium size ManU should not be belittling so-called Smaller sides...Originally posted by BoredBloke View PostThe team has hardly changed and last year United were not dropping points like they are now against the Smaller sides.Comment

Not true. United may not have changed their setup much but the competition did. All of the sides in front of United in the table except for Arsenal have new management as well as new personnel and most of the teams below them strengthened.Originally posted by BoredBloke View PostThe team has hardly changed and last year United were not dropping points like they are now against the Smaller sides. Yes they did - the manager has changed along with all the backroom staff. The person who did the coaching for most of the last 5 years is managing Fulham.Originally posted by doodab View PostNot true. United may not have changed their setup much but the competition did. Either way, my point is that the competition evolved, the changes to the Utd coaching setup aren't the only thing that changed. While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

My point is, the whole setup behind the scenes changed and now they can't beat the teams that they should be able to beat. They have wasted tons of cash on players that probably were not the ones the team needs. As good as Mata is, United already had an oversupply in people playing in that position - now the probelm is even worse.Originally posted by doodab View PostAnd look where they are

I appreciate that the oter big teams have moved on, but it's the losses to the smaller teams that is causing the problem. There are only 4 or 5 big teams. There are a lot more little ones. Beat the little ones and you'll be in and around the top end of the table. At the moment they are just hopeless.Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

While I'd agree that West Brom and Stoke are teams they ought to be beating the fact is that the little teams are the only teams they do beat. The only top side they have beaten are Arsenal. The other Europa league contenders have all turned them over at home and Chelsea got a draw. If they had won those games they would be in the hunt for the title, never mind 4th.Originally posted by BoredBloke View PostMy point is, the whole setup behind the scenes changed and now they can't beat the teams that they should be able to beat. ManU have got nothing on compared to Hamburg (HSV, not St. Pauli). This is the only top flight German team who haven't been relegated to the 2nd division in the history of the Bundesliga yet since the winter break they've lost 3 games, all 3:0 and 2 of those at home. They've already sacked 1 manager this season and the fans aren't very happy, currently second bottom with 16 points.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment
