UK leaves EU?

Given a choice between being a British Citizen and being a European Citizen, which would you choose?

Personally I don't feel any more "British" than I do European, so if it came to it I'd rather be an EU citizen. Trouble is, that is dependent on being a citizen of an EU country. So if it came to the UK leaving the EU, and consequently my leaving the UK, how could I keep my EU citizenship?

I have spent years living in France and Germany, and would rather be there. But the real question was citizenship. I don't want to be a citizen of a UK outside the EU.

I don't suppose they care, but when all the Brits living abroad come back grump and vote, they will.

For myself, I happen to be working in the UK now (first time since 1990) but the thought of being stuck here for life seems like a life sentence.

Interesting.

So the big numbers are in Spain, France, Ireland, Germany. The rest not so much at all.

It would be best to have a deal with these four countries and probably Netherlands as they quite like Brits over there.

The east Europeans can bugger off. We wouldn't lose anything.
