The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.” -
Contractors don't do Travelodge.
I've tried all the usual corp ones, Hilton, Marriott etc., because my client has good rates (half-price-ish) with them. I need city centre because I'm going down by train, plus I'll be in the office until gone midnight (and later if things go tits-up) on the Wednesday and I don't want to crawl too far to me bed.
Someone said the Strolling Bones are playing, don't know if this is true but it would explain the lack of rooms.
I will try laterooms and see what they've got. Cheers all.His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...Comment

There's a big charity golf thing this weekend and then the Stones on Tuesday.
There's also a Hanover Hotel or this one looks okay.

You’re not quick enough. Try this one and take a taxi. ."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment

Actually I think you'll find that in the posh hotels in Wales it's not a mini bar in your room - its a mini baa. Hence there is no need for the adult channels on the telly. Don't forget your wellys though.Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.
I preferred version 1!Comment
