    Jamie Burgess at Hoaxleys

I see that Hoaxleys are still banging away with spam emails featuring their favourite fake agent, just got this, firstly how generic is this email and more importantly why do they bother

    Hi

    Happy new year.

Are you currently considering new contracts?

I've got several interesting development roles within our banking and hedgefund clients.

Please advise on your situation and if you would like further details?

    Many thanks,

Is he fake? Easy to find out, ring that number and say you wish to speak to him about hiring some contractors.

What about the jobs he is offering?

He is actually a good guy - secured me a good contract with a bank recently and didn't give me too much of a hard time when I had to cut it short.

There are definitely worse out there!

I received loads of generic emails like that last week. I give them a call or a mail as I view it as keeping in touch with your 'sales force'.
