My first contract was working with Dave Smiley's brother

Favourite moment was from an early episode when Max & Paddy are doing the door and people start to arrive. A group of girls in short skirts approach and Max says 'Nice legs luv, what time do they open ?'

Used to live near St Gregory's, Farnworth which doubled as The Phoenix.
Also the scene with the Asian Elders in the minibus is on Halliwell Rd, Halliwell, Bolton, where I also used to live (but not at the same time as above).
