Cheers to all who offered advice on stuff to do and see.
Had a really good weekend - made it to the Fishmarket on Sunday morning, although as daughter had a face on (probably due to being parted with her duvet at such an ungodly hour), we didn't stay too long.
Best purchase was the chocolate tools - very convincing and a good stocking filler, although bought plenty of other tat too, and quaffed a fair few mugs of gluhwein.
Liked Hamburg - don't know how much like the rest of Germany it is, but felt like somewhere that I could quite happily live (if I could speak the lingo...)Last edited by mudskipper; 11 December 2013, 20:30.Comment

I'd move to Germany in a heartbeat. And I can't speak the lingo (that well, I must sound like an English Borat to them).Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment
