Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Excellent. No wonder she looked alarmed.

Bring yer own bleedin' tea bags or stick to coffee which is often better for the short period that you are away.

Dont do what I did - remarked about so many S-Bahn or U-Bahn trains going to this place called 'Kurzzug' - a lot of trains go there....

Cheers to all who offered advice on stuff to do and see.

Had a really good weekend - made it to the Fishmarket on Sunday morning, although as daughter had a face on (probably due to being parted with her duvet at such an ungodly hour), we didn't stay too long.

Best purchase was the chocolate tools - very convincing and a good stocking filler, although bought plenty of other tat too, and quaffed a fair few mugs of gluhwein.

Liked Hamburg - don't know how much like the rest of Germany it is, but felt like somewhere that I could quite happily live (if I could speak the lingo...)

I'd move to Germany in a heartbeat. And I can't speak the lingo (that well, I must sound like an English Borat to them).
