Yes, I enjoy my meat nice and pink.

Not so sure about the lettuce though

If in England, I'd order rare.

In France, I order it medium - occasionally (depending on where in the country I am) I might be asked whether that's an English medium or a French medium, so I go for the French medium/English rare.

If the meat is good enough, wave it over a candle and serve it up.

Therein lies the problem. There are a few places I'll go to and eat rare meat but only as steak. I wouldn't order a burger rare. I recall about 10 years ago ordering a burger in some upitsownarse NY place. My mate ordered it rare and they made him sign a disclaimer.

Very well done. No pink, red or blood. Horrific to think what bugs might be there.

Send it into space, and it'll cook on re-entry.
Put it on my plate and serve.
            Thanks.

If I recall correctly, HyperD orders it blue.

Not as horrific as thinking what bugs are inside your own body...

And just to clarify, what should be leaking out of your steak is not blood.

Simply sweet, sweet, meat juice (not the sort you get from choking a pole).

Presumably the meat should have been bled at slaughter?

I ordered steak at a restaurant in Australia and told the waiter I'd like it rare.

He replied that he would just ask the chef to give it a cuddle......

Probably the best steak I've eaten.
