Fing? HMO?
Ok. House Under Multiple Occupancy.
Hire somebody to put the frighteners on them. Either that or hide a few lumps of festering Camembert around the house.
Then you'll be able to get a regular mortgage like everyone else

Not many lenders to be fair will consider Houses of Multiple Occupation.Originally posted by SandyD View PostI need to convert my rented property to HMO according to the Fing council, anyone knows any morgage provider who can remortgage for HMO?
I would start with Paragon, Leeds Building Society and The Mortgage Works.Comment

You could try Capital Fortune or Charleston Financial Services as well. Both have decent reps for HMO mortgages : hasten to add I have no personal experience to offer, just rep from other people.

Just a quick question. Why are the council getting involved in your mortgage? I had some tenants complain about some damp in one of my older properties and got the council in under the housing act. tulip myself but in the end it was them drying their clothes on radiators and never opening windows so just condensation. The only recommendation I got was to have the main linked fire alarm on each floor instead of the 3 standard ones. Didn't question anything else.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!
