Ahh, now I get it. Ta.

The Housemartins were from 'ull. That's all I know about 'culture' in 'ull.

Not completely fair; in 2018 Leeuwarden in Friesland will be the City of Culture; it's really a very nice place, but perhaps it could to with a tourism boost. On the other hand, perhaps it couldn't because I'd prefer it to stay a nice place.

That is the European Capital of Culture, UK City Of Culture is a poor alternative

If that were true Dunstable would be a shoe in. No wait it's not a city. But if there were a town of culture, based on that logic, it's a shoe in for 2017.

last time I was in Hull I saw

                  1) A pimp smack his bitch up
                  2) A girl/ woman (says she was 18 looked about 40) with no teeth in a kebab shop trying to get me back to her place for some (gummy) lovin.

I made my excuses and left

Think the kebab was nice though so maybe that is a +1 for Hull
