Made well it's a very good instrument.Originally posted by d000hg View PostIs that because it's a bloody stupid instrument?
I'm having a custom doubleneck made for me at the moment and should be ready around March next year. Standard electric neck with a second nylon strung classical neck. It will be fitted with humbucker (with coil taps), and Piezo pickups as well as MIDI capability compatible with my Roland GR-55 guitar synth.
PS I've jammed with Jimmy Page and Roy Harper backstage at a festival where we were all playing.Last edited by Cliphead; 19 November 2013, 17:06.Comment

I would point out that far from taking to 25 (or so) to play it.Originally posted by VectraMan View PostI could play Stairway to Heaven when I was 15. It took Jimmy Page until he was 25...
He wrote it about that age.

A very retro looking guitar the XII, never seen one in the flesh never mind played one. Acquired a Fender Telecoustic last year and got it totally refurbed with new pickup, electrics and the neck setup how I like it. Totaly different guitar from what came out of the factory and plays like a dream.Comment

I remember walking into Andy's Guitars in Denmark Street a long time ago and there was this guitar for sale. One of the guys in the shop saw me looking at it and asked if I wanted to try it. With a 'yes' I was hustled into the cellar and bashed out a rough version of 'Pretty Vacant' and then put back as I couldn't afford it! The original owner bought it back shortly afterwards having cleared his debts...
