btw - If you vaguely "like" guitarists, then I would suggest a watch of "It might get loud". Jimmy Page, The Edge and Jack White (well, you could have left Jack White out...).
    The Edge, really?

Made well it's a very good instrument.

I'm having a custom doubleneck made for me at the moment and should be ready around March next year. Standard electric neck with a second nylon strung classical neck. It will be fitted with humbucker (with coil taps), and Piezo pickups as well as MIDI capability compatible with my Roland GR-55 guitar synth.

PS I've jammed with Jimmy Page and Roy Harper backstage at a festival where we were all playing.

I would point out that far from taking to 25 (or so) to play it.
He wrote it about that age.

Remind us again which "Top 10 of all time" thing you have done?

Roy Harper is a sex pest now though isn't he?

BTW Clippy, my Fender XII project is nearly done, ur compatriot Fraser Callum is setting it up for me, he knows his stuff, based in Horsforth, Leeds, birthplace of noted Gaylord Marc Almond (no connection), good guy (Fraser, not Marc)

I haven't heard anything about him since those days to be honest.

A very retro looking guitar the XII, never seen one in the flesh never mind played one. Acquired a Fender Telecoustic last year and got it totally refurbed with new pickup, electrics and the neck setup how I like it. Totaly different guitar from what came out of the factory and plays like a dream.

I remember walking into Andy's Guitars in Denmark Street a long time ago and there was this guitar for sale. One of the guys in the shop saw me looking at it and asked if I wanted to try it. With a 'yes' I was hustled into the cellar and bashed out a rough version of 'Pretty Vacant' and then put back as I couldn't afford it! The original owner bought it back shortly afterwards having cleared his debts...

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
