Unfortunately it did not show the actual erm ... process! It was just behind the scenes following some girl who wanted to join up. She got a 3 film contract just by saying she was up for it and being pretty. They guy said he would have signed her for more but she not prepared to do enough 'activities' which cut down the scenes they could use her for.

Otherwise they could view her as an emotionally insecure loose cannon that will ruin any team she joined with a succession of one night stands and a complicated private life that requires hours of HR time to manage. That could be another interpretation of the article of course.

I think there is a fair churn on the female side. New faces etc. Male side its being capable of performing at will. Not many blokes can keep it up for hours and shoot on command.

There was another documentary about getting into the business from both sides and they had a number of blokes who thought they could cut the mustard and failed.

And then date a porn star, another C4 classic which was quite depressing. One gay guy fancied some gay porn star then met him and found out his gay porn star was straight and only did simulated scenes. The did become good friends though. One Neanderthal realised porn was pretty nasty in the end.

FHM did an interview with a guy who works in this industry and he was saying how it has messed up his relationships outside of work. If he sees a girl he fancies but she does not want to jump into bed with him there and then he cannot be bothered talking to her. If she does but she won't do the sort of things he does at work then he gets annoyed and cannot be bothered etc.
