            Come on, the Pope's been saying some pretty sensible things lately, and even some of his predecessors did, most notably Pope JPII with his intervention in Poland during the strikes; if not for JP, Lech Walesa and co would probably have ended up either in a Gulag or dead or both, and who knows how long the cold war would have gone on. Sure, he said some silly things too, but let's not pretend that religion automatically makes people dangerous.
