You're thinking of AtW. Or was that ferrets? What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions! -
Well I have to have about 3 injections for the first visit when they grind all the old crap tooth away and then pull the nerve out. The second one, when they get rid of the rest of the nerve (*) and put the temporary crown on normally only needs one and the last for the final crown I don't need any. I've never had any pain afterwards and as my dentist gives me enough injections for the first visit (she has tried with 2 but I could still feel something) then I also don't feel anything. I suppose it does help that my dentist is a larger older woman whom I'm tulip scared ofOriginally posted by d000hg View PostNever had a RC, but quite a few biggish fillings. Is a RC no more painful than a regular filling then - they can numb it sufficiently you don't feel anything?
During the procedure I mean - I don't mind pain afterwards but am really nervous of them jabbing the drill into my nerve!
(*) Once on the second visit she started extracting the rest of the nerve or whatever they do with that rasp type thing without any injection, boy that hurt although she has done it without an injection and there was no pain, probably because the nerve had been fully removed.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

It was devoid of charm.
A bit of flit shot out of it.
The rest shot up her arm.Comment
