Tags are fine, and are as much part of general as any banter is.

It's virtual piss taking, name calling, and should be given as much gravitas as that would merit.

I stand by what I said though, tags should not be used as (yet another) way to insult people. If you want to insult someone, do it in a post or PM or rep comment rather than passive-aggressively in a way that it cannot be responded to.
