I reckon if there was a London referendum the yes campaign would be dead in the water.

Did you know Edinburgh used to be an independent city? It's part of the reason why the tenements are so tall as land quickly became scarce. A wall used to surround the city long ago.

I dream of the taxation system branch and rewrite, dream of it.

It will be chaos, it will be massive, it will take years and the unions will be in going tonto at the slightest suggestion of offshore resources.

How many Tory MPs are there in Scotland?

It's about time you feckless drunken wazzacks owned up to your own problems and stopped blaming your ills on others.

That's exactly why I'd like to see an completely independant Scotland, no handouts from England, no EU handouts. They can have all the oil in Scottish waters.

About time they all grew up and grew some.

And it would be better off being a city state now, it won't happen though

They might be able to repay their pre-act of union debts!

Back's in the 70's when steam pile of poo met fan more than one or two they were. The Scotland had the pole tax introduced before the rest of the country. Just because there is none there today does not mean they can no longer do damage.
