I'm sure a number of shandy drinking morris dancing ankle clanking southerners would want that. But you might find the wall serves more purpose keeping northern folks in England.

Speaking of skirt-wearing, went to Octoberfest in me skirt, what a reception I got from the ladies

That's nonsense then. Those Islands, which most of my family hale, from Skye and the like, are as much part of Scotland as Scotland is part of them.

You'll be on the front line in the trenches expecting that Chinese tanks would roll over you at any moment from their forward bases rented to them for 1000 years in Stirling ...

For what? Should we also have a referendum for individual regions?? One step at a time.

Why is it that no-one up there can see that they only thing that they will achieve by getting loose is to open up a big fat underbelly of cash for the post conflict reconstruction specialists to steal.

The boom in contracts for SC cleared and government aligned specialists will go through the flipping roof. The cash will never make it down to the ground level of peasants.

London will be wanting independence, closely followed by Edingburgh and Cardiff no doubt
