I would offer to show you the order documents for the car, the final cost was over the price of an SL500 because I am more interested in the comfort level than proving top trumps to some sad twat down the pub. GL's a fine looking vehicle, and 3 times the car you've bought, and I didn't pay a dealer net for it, like a chump.

I could afford one with what's in my current account, but you see, I am not that dense, that I would go to a dealer, and buy off him a brand new Merc. He was even giggling at your stupidity; you lost, if you are telling the truth, 16k driving out of the showroom. If you've had it 6 months, add another 15k to that. In 3 years, it will be worth no more than 24k. That's almost a £20k a year loss. Even MF isn't as stupid as that. I could have bought a flat for that, that yielded me 6% and, as it would appear, appreciate in value.
