It says 75 miles from the London Eye. I thought it was 56.
The most I've done in a day is 55 and that was a good decade ago. Is it all downhill?
What happens in General, stays in General.

I'm expecting my job interview for mod to go well on the 12th.

Yes. Its all downhill. Its like John O'groats to Lands End. Its easier going that way as its downhill due tom the curvature of the earth. Very easy. In fact, very the slope being heavier helps you as you get more gravity effect.

The BHF London->Brighton is 56ish - starting from Clapham Common.

Pretty much flat. Little hill in the middle. Big fecker of a hill (Ditchling Beacon) at the end - then lovely downhill run into Brighton.

I'm in for £10, now my houses have been sold and him rumbling past wouldn't upset the foundations...

In all fairness MF, it's piss easy outside the Surrey Downs and coming up to Brighton and even then, it's not even slightly severe.
