I've always felt that I might have grown up liking poetry if it wasn't for the sheer misery of O-level English class, and most notably the hideous poetry of one Seamus Heaney.
I'm not saying I'm pleased that he's dead, and he certainly has enough of a body of work to cause equal misery and destroy any love of poetry for countless thousands of schoolchildren to come, but at least he won't be producing any more of it.Will work inside IR35. Or for food.Comment
