Penhaligons have one called Juniper Sling...

    Juniper Sling | Penhaligon's

Introducing Juniper Sling, an intoxicating new fragrance inspired by the most iconic and atmospheric of spirits: London Dry Gin.
Someone must make one dedicated to Jack Daniels cause I smell of it all weekend after a heavy Friday night out!!!

My favourite 'big beast' at the moment is Dior's Leather Oud. For general day/ office wear I'm happy with a vetiver (e.g. Guerlain Vetiver) or citrus vetiver (e.g. Chanel Pour Monsieur). YSL Kouros only comes out from time to time!
It's no where near ckone, it's a lot more complex than that.

Also always been a fan of Orange vert by Hermes.

I'm going to stick by my guns and say that CKO and Quercus DO have a similar 'vibe'...

Ooh, shall we start the Cool Water/ Green Irish Tweed debate?

I've got a small decant of Orange Verte in my desk at work that I will use from time to time. Very pleasant, but not a real favourite of mine.

Sounds like she does what I do once a year with my Barbour jacket - rinse it in warm soapy water, and tip in a bottle of TCP to give it that tangy fresh salty smell when it dries.

Anyway, nominations are now closed, and I'll look up a few of the fancier sounding names tonight. Can't promise to cover all of them, as some of the reviews are quite long.

I presume no one will object if their favourite perfume turns out to have a rotten review. If so, you should have thought of that before telling everyone, but in any case opinions are largely subjective.

I'll throw in a couple of 'Crowd Pleasers', too.

For a modest amount of money - YSL La Nuite de L'Homme.

For a bit more money - Creed Aventus.

Am not a sexist northern pig but... We have two women here that top up their perfumes at work and smell like they are on a night out. They have a rep for this not the work they do on the project. Putting perfume on at work has a pretty fine line IMO.

                Do you wear perfume/aftershave because

                a) You just want to smell good?
                b) You want other people to think you smell good?
                c) Soemthing else?

                cheers

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

That letter from A&E to your support worker said you had inflamed post-surgical scarring following internal use of Asda Smartprice deodorant. And as that leaves you off work for another 7 days, I suggest it's a false economy.
