If only it were possible to have a mixture of different energy generation technologies.

If only it were possible to somehow store the energy when it is windy to use when it's not.

Tidal is better - at least it is predictable.

About time we built more coal fired and nuclear - with all the work done in the UK.

Interesting to note we're importing about the same amount from France (i.e. nuclear) than we're generating from all of our own windmills.

We should build more lakes/generators at the top of mountains. Then we'd have somewhere to store all the excess wind energy.

mmm, I can see a blue sky, nice fields and a shed-load of fugly wind turbines

There are also 11 gas wells in that picture.
