    Bearing in mind other countries have funny names such as Mike Hunt and Fanny Chmelar (actual name for German alpine skier) I think it is a bit lame to be calling something racist when you are just playing with words but that is the modern world for you I guess. Even imitation of someone from a different country is racist now.

      FTFY. As I pointed out above, it's only the Telegraph that has talked of the names being "racially offensive", not the TV station or the NTSB.

        WHS, which was why I asked.

        Maybe the Telegraph, being now but a pale shadow of its former self, believes that being hyper-sensitive to imaginary racism will help it poach Guardian and Independent readers.
