Get a Citroen C6. A bit different, comfy as hell, great motorway cruiser and cheap as chips.
Oh and according to a mate who has one, the diesel 2.7 is brilliant.
Not forgetting that the C6 has great off road capabilities unlike the BMW. There was a T/C Jeremy Clarkson comparison and the C6 knocked the spots of the BMW

Swindon is famous for unemployed chavs who live in starter homes and drive beaten up old BMWs, didn't you know?

it was to do with using it is a camera platform for horse racing - apparently they have used citreons for years due to the pnuematic suspension

so not really off road but more grass tracking

I've been in my mates C6 - it really is like a magic carpet, not sure if has the old hydro-pneumatic suspension though as on the DS. Didn't go on motorway, but on urban crappy potholed roads its great.

You wanna go and setup another thread about Citroens FFS. I can't stand french cars and I wouldn't go near one with a barge pole.

Tell me about it, if they're anything like those ghastly rattly underpowered and insufferably noisy 2CVs, which a friend recently gave me a mercifully short lift in.

Why on Earth would anyone want to drive bangers like that these days, when there are so many quieter and more reliable and cheaper cars around?
