Seems to be a Europe wide phenomenon - the UK is only 4th in proportion of foreign born residents in Europe. Germany has a far larger percentage, so does Spain and Italy.

Yep, but there probably won't be a sensible conversation about immigration because opinions are so entrenched that any conversation just makes all participants more extreme.
