Deutsche bank charges me every quarter, €25-30 or there abouts - peanuts.
On the plus side, nearly on my business is done at a local branch 10 minutes walk away. The branch staff know me by name, there's a couch & telly with coffee served if I'm kept waiting.
Are they doing the Santander trick of lets lose loads of business customers before we change our mind?
What's wrong with Santander? I am using them for one entity: £7.50 per month for bank account with a card.
Reasonable rates, if you are running a business what the heck would you do without bank account?!?! It's entirely reasonable for banks to charge enough to make profit from those operations, if anything this should be legally required - no subsidy should be allowed to prevent tulip like charging loads for overdraft.

My ex-Abbey is free too; I also have HSBC but I've no idea which tariff it is. I'll have to check for a letter when I get home... is it possible to simply change the account to a free tariff?
