I really don't want an Ariel Atom. If I was going to buy a pure track car I would buy a racing car. Though I'd probably go for a historic sports racer.

Paul Ricard in the South of France; you can rent chalets to stay in by the track.
Lots of these in the States too, where you can buy a house at a track.
Oh, and me, if I won 141m, I'd buy a Zonda Pagini F which is exclusively for the track. Saw one at Goodwood a year back, and I shot my load listening to it at full chat.Comment

Down in the west country we have Castle Combe Circuit although the locals get the hump if your exhausts are too loud. There is also a disused air field that has an honesty box at the gate...
I've done the Formula Ford day at Castle Coombe, great fun when you ignore the instructions to keep it below 4,000 rpm.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

I love the Atom... I loved the original one and I was amazed by the much more powerful v2 though personally I think I'd find that one too scary to have as much fun.
Anyone done track days (in real life) with their own or a hired car? Or one of those "Ferrari Experience Days" you can buy?Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment
