Can anyone recommend software to recover deleted/perhaps even corrupted files from HDs? I understand this kind of sofware has come on in leaps and bounds in recent years and also fallen in price dramatically - anyone know a good one?

OnTrack data recover. 130 quid but excellent. Brings files back with the original filename too. recovered about 95% of my drive recently -

ERD Commander as a software bundle is one of my favourites. Now they have beed aquired by Micro$$oftand I think in the future there will be no more winternals good software...
