Best car in that class for everything except carrying capacity is the Toyota MR2. Absolute hoot. A bit pricier than others but sooooo much better.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

The MR2 is good but like the MX-5 lacks grunt. Bung in an extra 10k and buy the Honda s2000.Originally posted by The Lone GunmanBest car in that class for everything except carrying capacity is the Toyota MR2. Absolute hoot. Thing is with a car like an MX-5 or an MR-2 you can drive them near the limit alot of the time. A dash of acceleration isn't going to unbalance the car. The mistake people make when stepping up from such a car is thinking you can get away with the same type of driving (fancy traction control gadgets accepted). Which is when they accidently go sideways through a hedge at 90mph.
PS do you mean a replica Cobra?I remember the good old days of this site when people used to moan about serious contractor related issues like house prices and immigration. How times have changed!?Comment

Faulty speedo obviously.I currently have a Jaguar S-Type nice for longer journeys, and the onboard SAT NAV is nice is it does not clog up the dash. Taken it to 175mph in France,...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...
