Again talk of Cesc coming back to Arsenal, again I think it's unneeded as we have so much talent in that area. More positive news is Loic Remy seems to have agrees terms over an £8m move, glad to see we are getting the business done early this year, add a right back, keeper and holding midfielder now

I'm disappointed that Lambert is going to Liverpool. He won't get many games behind Suarez and Sturridge - not unless Liverpool are going to cash in on one of them.

Or rest the SAS in the FA cup and carling cup

However 4m for a striker who goes towards the english quota in the CL is a good bit of business.

True about quotas, it might be good business for Liverpool, but players who sign for reserve-team football sacrifice their careers.

Lambert would be better off playing regularly. Liverpool reserves at his age will sink him.

Lambert is 32, this will be the last contract of his career, he has a chance at the title next year and CL games, not bad for a bit part player who will also get a hell if a pay rise too

It's a decent signing, used in Cup and CL games when BR wants to rest S&S&S.

Prob a bit of politics involved to try and sweeten the deal for Lallana; LFC have offered 25m for him take it or leave it.

              qh
He had a negative bluety on a quackhandle and was quadraspazzed on a lifeglug.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

All true, and he might finish his career with a medal.

I just think it's a pity, having finally reached the premier league at the age of 30, he's decided to become a bit-part player for that rather than make the most of his last two or three years by playing as much as possible.

agree with that - he probably only had a good season last year due to the team he was in and the number of games he got

if the only starts he gets are against burnley on a wet wednesday in the carling cup he will not be as effective

He was good in Southampton's first year in the Prem as well.

And it's not just goals, what struck me is that he looks a decent midfield player.

I think its a signing that suits everybody. He;s a liverpool fan and had a bit of a roy of the rovers career - lower leagues through to the top level (if playing for england counts as top level) and back to the club where he was as a kid and who he supports. Liverpool have a small squad by most clubs standards and next year they will have to play a lot more games than they did this year. They need strength in depth and that's what he'll provide. As a united fan I obviously have little fondness for Liverpool, but I can see why they have bought him.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                      I preferred version 1!
