How is the PUG? Is it true that it would need a major service and valet to be allowed into the scrappies?

PUG is fine, even though I do now appreciate the meaning of word "build quality", now I don't even rule out buying Lexus!Comment

Ok
Main issue is burning of fossil fuels.
Everyone in the world knows these are of a FINITE supply and will start to run out in the next few decades (a blink of an eye in global timescales).
Other means of transportation and energy generation are essentially Carbon neutral.
Therefore we will soon (in global terms) be in a position of using far more CO2 then we are producing and the world climate will adjust accordingly. So whether we use it now or eke it out for an extra 20 years makes no difference.
Major issue for me is the inability of the earth to sustain an artificially high human population growing exponentially, elevated through cheating the normal constraints on animal population growth through e.g. health care, centralisation of food production, provision of water and energy. I expect a natural adjustment to this through bird flu or similar to wipe out huge swathes of CO2 generators i.e. humans.Comment
