What we need is a plutocracy. Where the number of votes you have is proportional to the amount of money and value of assets you have.
It makes sense because if you are smart enough to make lots of money you're likely to be smart enough to know who to choose to run the country well.Comment

I always thought the neo-con Liberal democracy was just a result of a socio-climatic upheaval due to capitalistic values being subverted by a Marxist economy undergoing a re-evaluation of the Socialist doctrine as prescribed by Imperialist attitudes.
