I get the disposable ones from the supermarket, because lets face it, it's very rarely dry or warm enough for cooking outside these days. Costs me about £10 a year.

You buy one of these and you can also use it indoors, a local chef has one in his kitchen.Originally posted by Pogle View PostI get the disposable ones from the supermarket, because lets face it, it's very rarely dry or warm enough for cooking outside these days. Costs me about £10 a year.
I had a weber back in blighty and was even using it in winter, it was great for roast chicken.
So really looking forward to getting this, as I miss bbqing.Comment

I bought a weber gas one, it's ready to go in 10 minutes so you only need small break in the clouds.Originally posted by Pogle View PostI get the disposable ones from the supermarket, because lets face it, it's very rarely dry or warm enough for cooking outside these days. Weber (£100)
Fire Chminey (£10)
Lumpwood Charcoal or Small briquettes (large ones = less controlled heat) (£5 = 10Kg)
Firelighters (£2)
The first two will last 10 years
The last two last 4-5 BBQ's / Braai's - in my house, 1-2 weeks at the most.
The EGG looks like a poncy toy (Giffen Good) and will go well with a Barbour Jacket, Hunter Wellies and some cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off
