Just to throw something into the discussion:
The UK government is talking about allowing syrian "rebels" to have more arms in order to fight the asad regime. Those "rebels" are in fact Al-Qaeda with the same mentality as those killers in the Woolwich incident - the key difference being that they are committing the crimes against Syrians rather than UK citizens.
It sounds crazy to me that the UK government is even contemplating supporting those rebels let alone actively going out of their way to help them!
