Just to throw something into the discussion:

The UK government is talking about allowing syrian "rebels" to have more arms in order to fight the asad regime. Those "rebels" are in fact Al-Qaeda with the same mentality as those killers in the Woolwich incident - the key difference being that they are committing the crimes against Syrians rather than UK citizens.

It sounds crazy to me that the UK government is even contemplating supporting those rebels let alone actively going out of their way to help them!

I don't think the politicians are so stupid as to not realise who they are dealing with - more that they are hoping the public will turn a blind eye/remain ignorant to this fact so they can achieve their narrow short-term objectives. They know that in the future the people they want to support will turn against them. The reality is that Asad is not a great guy but the alternative is a hell of a lot worse.

Al-Qaeda is not some organised group with clear hierarchy and structure. It is an ideology aligned with those violent haters whose ideology originates from Saudi Arabia (one of our allies). Their particular sect is known as the selafist movement - they will kill/harm anybody who disagrees with them and that includes sunnis, shias and even selafiists who have a slightly different view to themselves!

They originate primarily from Libya, Palestine, Syria, Saudi, Ethiopia and Pakistan and are funded by billions of petro$ from Saudi.

They move to wherever they can fight and wage terror. Previously they went to Iraq but now they are waging terror in Syria, Lebanon (Tripoli), Libya in addition to Iraq.

Their ideology is the same as those who were in the Woolwich incident and they have no boundaries - they will behead, eat body parts, attack graves. There are others who will wage a legitimate resistance and act within some kind of moral code but that is not the people who are fighting in Syria.

There is some truth in what you say - indeed they have come created concepts such as "intercourse marriage" in order to justify rape. However, they go much beyond sexual perversion - violence is at the heart of their political ideology. They wish to force everybody, through violence, to submit to their political/religious view or else be killed.
