Brave yes, but also stupid. By talking to them she could have been killed. The only people who should have tackled them was a group of strong people who could have overpowered them.

I think it's. a combination of radical whatever and mental health problems. Look at Timothy McVeigh and the guy in Norway.

Edit: should have added. And all combined with being male.

Yep. But I sometimes wonder if political/religious extremism itself is a mental health problem.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

Remind me not to ask you to do hostage negotiation!

Sounded like Hackney folk to me.

They shouted that only women could approach them, so I think she thought she'd be ok. Still mighty brave. Braver than the 1000's who were videoing going on. I'd like to think I couldn't watch that kind of thing happening and film it.

I think he was defintely something as they are saying he was 'seconded' or something, which indicates it wasn't his normal gaff, although that could mean other things too.

Allalah Akbal or something I believe they said.

The only common denominator is relegion.

Reminds me from the scene from Dogma:

Rufus: His only real beef with mankind is the tulip that gets carried out in His name. Wars, bigotry, televangelism. The big one, though, is the fractioning of all of the religions. He said mankind got it all wrong by taking a good idea and building a belief structure on it.
Bethany: You’re saying having beliefs is a bad thing?
Rufus: I just think it’s better to have ideas. I mean, you can change an idea, changing a belief is trickier. People die for it, people kill for it. The whole of existence is in jeopardy right now, because of the Catholic belief structure regarding this plenary indulgence bulltulip. Bartleby and Loki, whether they know it or not, are exploiting that belief. And if they’re successful, you, me… ALL of this ends in a heartbeat, all over a belief.

Allāhu Akbar, which basically means God is Great

I'm a political extremist but am perfectly mentally balanced.

Would you rather it started a campaign of tit-for-tat attacks?

An important common denominator is maleness.
