I am of the opinion that on some subjects there is sufficient doubt for differences of opinion to exist, while in other areas things are pretty clear cut.
As an example, I might say that it's freezing, to which ms doodab might reply that it isn't. At that point I might point out that water is frozen outside, at which point she might say that is just my opinion. Now I consider the frozenness of water to be a verifiable fact which is clearly not an opinion.
