I'm not completely convinced it's a good idea to leave Europe

Yes we know. It is your tediously predictable routine that provides your "charm".

No point taking it out on sasguru. Just because, despite traipsing hundreds of miles across Devon all weekend, you still could not find a village desperate enough to install you as its idiot.
Stay in Somerset, they hold webbed feet, slack jaws, minimal intellect and vacant expressions in much higher regard there!

A German Europe shouldn't be that bad. Last time we had it was post-1871, and it was called "La Belle Epoque" for some reason.

Conversely, a French-controlled Europe (like the current one) has always led to disaster, with the Brits being the useful idiots of the Frogs.

Again fat boy, the irony is really strong in you.

We've found, and bought, a place thanks SB, just outside Stoke Gabriel. Also, despite trying hard to secure a village willing to give me the title, they were all holding out for you to move from swilly as a better candidate, for not only do you bring the particular stupidity of being scottish with you, you bring the inherent inner city stupidity of North Prospect, and the abject idiocy of being an infantryman too.

Jeez. Just when you think Old Hick has plumbed the depths of cretinism, you find another bottom feeder even deeper down the evolutionary scale.
            Hard Brexit now!

and yet you'd still need a step ladder to get up to his level

They are both vying for supremacy on the lowest and most slippery rung of the evolutionary ladder. Against some fairly stiff competition from Troll!!

We must be mindful of the fact that we all emerged and climbed out from the swamp at one stage. It is just that in their case, the slope has been a lot more gentle in gradient.

Anyone who controls anything of any substance should never be trusted to run anything unless there is proper democratic accountability whether they are French German or English. Occasionally this works when times are good but as soon as the chips are down everyone retreats back into their own cover which means that they simply look after number1

I am astonished that there are so many stupid fools that sit in their comfortable middle class homes with their comfortable middle class jobs in their crime free areas that just assume that the world they live in happens naturally. Our pampered middle class lives that at worse are occasionally interrupted by a bit of noise from some chav who has escaped from his council estate, exist by virtue of millions of mainly young men dying in the most horrific circumstances. These same fools seem to think that by blithely giving away our fought for democratic rights that somehow someone else will ensure that we are "well looked after".

This is what is wrong with the European Union. As a free trade area fine but as soon as it gains power to control laws and finance without democratic accountability it is a dictatorship waiting to happen
