That said, my girl has only done 98K. I usually reckon a car should cost £600 a year to run. Tyres, servicing, MOT, minor running repairs. So if she comes out of this she owes me 2 years trouble free service. So then something owes me! Not me owing someone else!
If you follow my logic.
If you did £1000 worth of work on a car with 37K more miles on it then I don't feel quite such a tit, so thanks for your honesty.Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

Cheapskates. I've done £1600 on a clutch and flywheel, new brakes all round, service and MOT. Got the cambelt coming up soon. And I only get about 25mpg.
