Ah yes, let's once again attack the Daily Mail for doing what papers do, reporting news, how awful! Heaven forbid we should actually criticise those involved in what they report on, like the violent rioting lefties

Quite true that "Asylum seeker in £500k London house" or "Violent rapist allowed to stay in Britain due to human rights" are not exactly common events but the point is that they should not be happening at all. Don't blame the Mail for reporting these things, blame the parasites/criminals involved and our governments for letting it happen.

No, they are not. And wrong as they are, they should, accordingly, be getting proportionate exposure in any worthwhile journal.
The fact that the Wail devotes a phenomenal percentage of print time and journalistic endeavour to dredging up such obscure absurdities, to the exclusion of almost everything else, is what attracts criticism.
It panders to the hard of thinking, and consequently I feel justified in haranguing it mercilessly.

        Ah yes, the Daily Mail:

"The minor misdeeds of individual Nazis would be submerged by the immense benefits the new regime is already bestowing on Germany" - Harold Harmsworth, 1st Viscount Rothermere, proprietor of the Daily Mail 1933
The Daily Mail supported the Nazis from 1933 to 1939 much like they would support its policies today.

Oh yes? How many stories about asylum seekers in 500k houses can you actually find that they have done? About as rare as the event, in other words, they are proportionate.

This is one of these lefty devices; invent a demon that you can use to dismiss any criticism of their nonsensical, unworkable and profoundly destructive ideas. Keep repeating something enough. Bit surprised they have suckered you in though. "It's in the Daily Mail", saves having to come up with any logical argument.

Their mentioning of things is not disproportionate at all. When it comes to totally unjustifiable costs to the taxpayer by people who have never contributed anything at all to our country or people who are a danger to British citizens I hope they keep on mentioning them until something is done.

Actually, I am not sure why people always cite the Mail when the Express is a much more right-wing newspaper. If you want to find out real statistics, try The Guardian, The BBC and especially The Independent. Liberals claim to view/read these sources but I am not sure they really do. Or maybe they just don't understand figures. Just take this one example on the welfare cost of some migrants:

Axing of migrant return scheme 'will cost taxpayers £2m a year' | UK news | The Observer

Allowing a single person to leave can save more than £500,000 in benefits over their lifetime, an analysis of official figures has shown,

I had to laugh at the Wail calling the BBC biased over the Thatcher coverage,

Yep, it's 100% true, but a case of the pot calling the kettle black, methinks.

I suppose there is the difference that the Daily Mail only gets money from those who choose to advertise with or buy it, unlike the BBC where viewers of all political persuasions are forced by law to pay a licence fee to pay for it.

Although I don't see that the BBC is particularly biased or politically correct. One can hardly have a program about Thatcher without mentioning minors' opinions but there was no bias in Nick Robinson's commentary on the BBC news. Some on the right have as much a thing about the BBC/Guardian as lefties have about the Mail, they are very selective in what they pick on.

Just today we have a typical anti-immigrant Daily Wail story of a convicted rapist and is 'uman rights:

Mustafa Abdi: Somali child rapist receives compensation from Government after he was unlawfully held for two-and-a-half years while awaiting deportation | Mail Online

Oh look, the BBC covered it yesterday:

BBC News - Damages for rapist unlawfully held in prison

                Oh! And the Guardian:

Convicted rapist was unlawfully detained, ECHR rules | Law | guardian.co.uk

This is quite normal in respect of "Daily Wail" stories, they are usually reported in other papers including liberal ones. People are very biased in their allegations of bias I'm afraid.
