So....come the vote, if you boys up there behave and vote for independence, you get what you want, we get rid of you (and Labour) and everyone is happy. Except the scrounging socialists, and who cares about them anyway.
We could even get rid of Wales who forever whinge that the Tories destroyed their mines. They can get independence and keep voting Labour forever while we in England can go on about our business and the socialists in Wales and Scotland can spend their time watching Sky all day.
Vote Corbyn ! Save this country !

must admit that has been a sneaking ambition of mine, Scotland & Wales separate and paying for themself, I suspect the money would run out quickly.

I see your tiny binary brain cannot cope with anything that reaches beyond Janet and John and spot the dog. What I have said was that Thatchers policies stimulated the development of IT by creating a competitive environment that forced companies to become more efficient.

there that cannot be too hard for even you to understand can it?

She didn't invent IT, but it was one of the few industries she didn't **** into a cocked hat.

All the big utilities were probably running on ICL mainframes when she came in.

The growth of the PC and networking and digital telecoms was largely indepenent of UK politics as far as I can see.

I think we can hazard a guess that Dodgy is from Essex. He's defineitly a few stops past Barking.

And what we are saying is that that the IT revolution would have occurred regardless due to the additional profits made available by lowering costs.

But they didn't. They depressed the development of IT by encouraging a lack of investment. This made british companies uncompetitive and ripe for takeovers, which indirectly created a lot of integration work.

The other big innivation was the perpetual upgrade cycle, and that is an entirely American contribution.

What I do understand is that your childish, lovestruck, brainwashed attitude combined with a brain the size of a pea makes you spout complete bollox as usual.
Thatchers reign happened to coincide with the growth of IT.
There were plenty of private companies who used and promoted IT even if public sector ones might have been slow to adopt it.
The person who did most to stimulate IT in the UK was probably Sir Clive Sinclair.
                Hard Brexit now!

You guys are assuming that Dodgy knows anything about the industry he works in rather being a dodgy spiv.
If he had been of age during the 2nd world war he would have sold lard and eggs and had a dodgy moustache.

                      She also invented Global Warming

Global warming conspiracy theory - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A desire on the part of conservative political leaders including Margaret Thatcher,[19] and Helmut Kohl[20] to promote nuclear power while attracting the political support of Green groups.
