What you've got to ask yourself is, do you feel lucky, Bunk?

Book something for the first week, get a local sim and then contact the local agents.

Best places I found were from other contractors on site.

In Germany unfurnished apartment don't even have kitchens. Expect to pay double the rent for furnished.
            Fiscal nomad it's legal.

You are aware aren´t you that when you register with the local authorities that they will be expecting a tax return, and if you rent a flat you will almost certainly be registered,

There are a number of posters who´ve posted here screaming about German prison because they spent 4 months in Germany and didn´t fill out a tax return.

I just thought I´d point that out.
                  I'm alright Jack

The agency assures me this does not apply to renting a room, ie a sublet.

All you'll need is a bed, a baseball and glove.
