There are a number of VPN solutions which bypass this.

Virgin also throttle torrent traffic completely - I was trying to torrent the latest Linux Mint download and got next to no speed. Connected to VPN, tried again and it was much quicker.

Seedbox is a better solution for bypassing the torrent throttling issue.

Have you tried doing a search ? (As someone we know might say).

Google will easily find you the access to Pirate Bay that you need.

I like Kickass for TV shows as they'll have every show for a series listed in order with the available torrents on a single screen.

I am on VM. tried to get to the site on the weekend and was really stressed for about 2 mins.... Then I found lots of proxies which point at KA. Awesome site.

The Pirate Bay also has numerous legal down load and open source files. The High Court Judge did not have a clue on how file sharing sites worked and he just rubber stamped the application from the media companies. Have you tried using a proxy?

If your newsagent is selling drugs and kiddie porn under the counter, is it also "not having a clue" to shut it down because 99% of the things sold were legal? Is it ludicrous to shut down a restaurant on health grounds because "only 10%" of meals cause food poisoning?

Besides which in the case of torrent sites it's more the opposite... 90% (at least) of usage is illegal and legal users just use it for convenience. Or maybe they host legal stuff just so they can claim it has legal uses... either way everyone knows full well that torrent sites exist for piracy and any other use is just a footnote.

The newsagent is hosting the illegal material. TPB and others don't host any material, legal or otherwise. They provide links to files, in the same way that Google does.

So, do you believe that Google and all search engines which provide links should be banned?
