Good for you. Hope you are enjoying Germany. I understand there is a terrific night life in Berlin. Should be a hell of a party.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

Then you should know that Carvalho wasn't "stamped in the nuts".Originally posted by snawLOL I've played football my whole life, I play twice a week currently and that's in my old age, and in my best years I played at a relativly decent level (NSW state league when I lived in Aus, Amateur when I played in Scotland, and a decent level when I was a youth). I know football, and physical sports ...

Great performance by Italy against Germany, beating the home team on their own ground which hitherto they had never lost an international match.
The best match Ive seen yet in the tournament.
The Italians looked as if they enjoyed every minute and played some really wonderful soccer.
Good luck for the World Cup !
Good that the Germans said that simply Italy were the better team and deserve their victory, makes a refreshing change.

Stamped in the region doesn't mean it connected, and either way that part is irrelevent - Rooney kicked back in frustration, he caught Carvalho - whether it was directly in the gonads, in his groin or a gentle tap on the back of his calf al la Beckham 98 it makes no difference - it was retaliation and it was a clear red card.Originally posted by wendigo100Then you should know that Carvalho wasn't "stamped in the nuts".

And I've been hit enough times with a ball to know that after a couple of minutes I'm running around as per normal. Again besides the point. Rooney is an awesome player who has a tendency when he's frustrated to do let his temper get the better of him - he's lashed out more than enough times for oppositions to know it's an issue and play to it - if you need examples then there are more than enough ones in a an England shirt, without going near anything else. And if it was Man U (Assuming you're not man u) playing against your team I know this conversation wouldn't be happening.Hang on - there is actually a place called Cheddar?? - cailin maith

Apparently Carvalho was in the running for FIFA's prestigious "Golden Ball" award. But when they examined him, his balls were black and blue, so he was disqualified. Boom Boom!
I'll get me coat ....Hard Brexit now!
