If you think about it the crimes that the two committed were of irrelevance to anyone other than the "jobsworth" "rules are rule" control freaks who enforce speeding laws.There is no victim and despite the fact that Huhne was speeding there is no assertion that he was driving dangerously.

Fraid my experience is they are all capable of it, especially when their mates and work colleagues get to work on them - 'don't let him get away with that, make his life a 'kin misery, you will feel much better'.

She's a silly cow. Not convinced she deserves to be locked up for it though. It is you and me, the tax payer/avoider, that would stump up for her to be incarcerated.

I think it's a bit more than just silly. There are plenty of real cases of marital coercion and abuse out there (with male and female victims). Devious liars like her undermine the credibility of those real victims. It's pretty sick. Just for that she deserves time - let alone the 'perverting the course of justice' bit.

Glad to see the 'but I'm the woman/mom - pity me!' BS doesn't work as well in criminal law as it does in civil/family cases.
