And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014 -

3. You are a prize idiot who talks complete bollux like Cliff Clavin in Cheers and that's why you're a lowly .NET dev.
So which do you think it is?

I blame Mrs Thatcher for expanding Care in the Community; it's one of those policies that could still do with a bit of tweaking to get it right. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

Some of the comments are staggering.
Keynesian economic theory is discredited? Better tell cambridge to remove it from their syllabus then. Sure we have Post-keynes studies now, but thats fair enough, the world moves on.
A google search might find you an article or two to support your argument, but you can do that for any economic school of thought, or any subject for that matter.
All economic models are just that, models.
As the world changes so does the economic environment.
If you're going to spread the kind of thatcher wet dream hyperbole about how simple the whole economy is if you just trust the free market; then at least go out and get yourself a degree in economics before you go preaching to the educated.Comment

If Keynsianism worked then half the world wouldn't be mired in recession/depression.
The idea that stimulus can boost an economy is all good and well, problem is, when that stimulus goes away, so does the boost, and then you still have to pay off the stimulus.
A boom results in a malinvestment of resources, and stimulus does nothing to fix that.Comment
