Sorry about that . I thought it the best way of avoiding helicopters.

Wow! That is seriously impressive. And if he gets through that barrier will he try to beat your times?

Rowing is great if you can't get out. But I am trying hard to put on no muscle. During my first diet/exercise week this year I put on 2kg - I reckon mostly muscle. Very bad news. I remember seeing a utube video on how to get <10hrs IM. Rule 1 - be skinny. No fat, no surplus muscle. Any tips?

PS How is life on the wagon?

I am not the argumentative sort like you. I am a gentle, shy person. And a coward.

Anyway its different for you. Young, good looking, perfect physical shape. And playing the field! One of those swimmers might be a dish.....

The runners always take the podiums - were stuffed
Chappy is vskinny and does running technique training so he is up there, its the 4 month-old that may scupper the plans

Off the wagon after tantrum earlier this week, back on now - does make a difference... until the next tantrum

IMO the biggest danger on the roads is pedestrians and I try to keep as far from them as possible. Then cars. Then vans.

Lorries, buses and taxis are all fine in my book.

I will break any and every law to cycle the safest I can - and remember that if I collide with anything I am going to get hurt - even pedestrians.

So far I have only hit trees, lamp posts and decking (showing off to kids). And I intend to stay that way.

At least once per commute (and sometimes many times) someone tries, deliberately or accidentally, to collide with me when I have the right of way and despite assuming that everyone wants to crash into me.

When the others keep to the highway code then I will.

I have to admit the start of the year is always a bit of a grind for me, days are quite short up here and what light you do get is minimal.

I just cannot wait for the summer.

I just cannot wait to finish this gig in 6 weeks time and have the summer off. Yipee!

Main thing is to do whatever you want to achieve your aim. If you want to keep fit then doing 30 minutes of swimming 3 times a week is superb! Do you have a goal?
Having a fixed distance with nowhere to stop would be nice, I agree.

No goal other than to avoid sitting in the house all day...

Thats good! Swimming is fun and will make you healthy. So do what you want.

If you want to increase times or distance and want any tips then ask Dallas! I have no clue what I am doing - I just sort of do it.....
