But can you plug a BMW 3 series into your computer in order to activate it so that you can download the latest firmware and the funkiest app?If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here. -
It was more like the iMac that turned Apple around; the iPod then took it stratospheric, but they couldn't have done that if they hadn't turned the business around first.Originally posted by d000hg View PostPeople were saying Apple was dead before it released iPod.Comment

A problem with Android is that there is a lot of hw variation between the handsets while Apple standardise and control everything. I much prefer the more geeky nature of the Android phone and hate the locked down nature of the iphone. Each to their own I suppose, but the Iphone 4 was pretty advanced when it came out 2.5 years ago. The 5 is way off the pace.Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.
I preferred version 1!Comment

I don't find Android to be tullip, the mapping certainly isn't.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostThe problem is that the only alternative that won't be belly-up within a year is Android: Windows Phone and BlackBerry are both dead, it's just that their limbs are still twitching.
And the problem with Android is that it's tulip.
PS The iphone also feels far too heavy IMHO. It's had it's day.Comment

Really? Galaxy S III is 133g, S III Mini is 120g, Note II is 182.5g. iPhone 5? 112g.Originally posted by ZARDOZ View PostPS The iphone also feels far too heavy IMHO. It's had it's day.
(Those are the phones Samsung chooses to parade at the top of its UK site, and AIUI Samsung make the best-selling Android phones.)
Anyway, it doesn't really matter. Those who are satisfied with commodity goods at knock-down prices will always find something in the market to make them happy. Android is useful in that it allows Apple to ignore external pressures to cater to those who value low price over quality.Comment

Indeed but they were still seen as on the way out. I'm not ready to write MS off yet, unlike Apple they have the resources to keep trying.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostIt was more like the iMac that turned Apple around; the iPod then took it stratospheric, but they couldn't have done that if they hadn't turned the business around first.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Do you know how much cash Apple have? I'm pretty sure it's more than Microsoft.Originally posted by d000hg View PostIndeed but they were still seen as on the way out. I'm not ready to write MS off yet, unlike Apple they have the resources to keep trying.Comment
