    Going to see it tonight. The book's great and have heard good things about the film, so I need to lower my expectations before going in lest I end up disappointed like I was with The Hobbit.

      Yes, although I felt the ending was rather rushed... like they knew they needed to include it but had used up all the time with beautiful scene shots.

      The film accurately follows the book and while I wouldn't say how the fit it to a screenplay wasn't inspired, the cinematography was simply breath-taking. It's also the first non-animated film I've seen which truly shows off 3D properly... it really is stunningly beautiful.

                    Yeah, the whole religion thing was quite hard to keep going, but fortunately NAT stepped in and bailed me out whenever the going got really heavy.
